Rion Towery

As a Director and choreographer, overseeing every aspect of both group and solo performances, including casting, costumes, staging and choreography, I have invited young people into the world theater, responding to their individual desires to perform and to find their own unique ways to express their emotions, thoughts, questions, desires and dreams.  Using a strategy of mindfulness, movement, steps, and posturing, I encourage my students to arouse within themselves an expression of empathy, awareness of others, and feelings of hope as they perform.  I try to be a good example for my performers and imbue in them the need to excel on the stage and in life.
